The study is based on a multi-stage evaluation process: more than 1,400 tax advisors in Berlin were asked to name five particularly respected colleagues each, without self-nominations or prior arrangements. In addition, around 970 finance leaders from Berlin-based companies assessed their experiences with tax advisory firms based on the ACSI (American Customer Satisfaction Index). Only firms that performed above average positively in both surveys were included in the shortlist. The presentation is alphabetical and without ranking.

What sets bplus apart

Bplus has been supporting companies in Berlin for over 20 years. The firm is led by Kristin Zehmisch-Kosinskiego and Uwe Tille. Kristin Zehmisch-Kosinskiego has been a tax advisor since 2008 and, alongside her dual study program, built her own bookkeeping office. Uwe Tille has been a tax advisor since 2000, spent five years as a tax auditor at the tax office, and founded the firm in 2004. Today, bplus employs more than 20 specialists and serves clients ranging from sole proprietorships and freelancers to startups and growing mid-sized companies with complex holding structures.

Bplus has been certified as a DATEV Digital Firm since 2020 and works 100 percent digitally, but its digital history goes back much further. The firm has used DATEV DMS since 2006 and has consistently switched to digital processes ever since.

Today, clients are connected via DATEV Unternehmen Online, income tax clients work through DATEV Meine Steuern, and payroll accounting runs through the DATEV Digital Personnel File with DATEV Arbeitnehmer Online. The key factor is the depth of integration: Bplus actively connects its clients' upstream systems, whether lexoffice, Candis, Personio, industry-specific agency software, or ERP systems. Instead of forcing clients into a standard setup, the firm looks for the right connection to DATEV.
